Portrait of a Lady on Fire star Noémie Merlant plays struggling actress Elise, who, along with her two roommates Ruby and Nicole (Souhella Yacoub and Sanda Codreanu) get into a spot of trouble following a drunken night with a sexually aggressive neighbor. What follows is a chaotic farce that involves dismembered body parts, ghosts, and slapstick comedy. Merlant steps behind the camera and delivers a wild romp that defies conventional structure and insteads delivers outrageous surprise after outrageous surprise.
