Con man Wei (Guo Xiaodong) is searching for his estranged daughter on the streets of the “Cyberpunk City” of Chongqing. Hong Kong Gallerist Ren (Sandrine Pinna) is struggling to tend to her ailing stepmother (Isabelle Huppert). These two disparate lives find a connection in a virtual reality space called Luz, where players are led on a mystical journey through a digital forest by a mysterious, iridescent deer.
