Festival Note
Jake is a high school teenager in Pagadian, a town too small for him. He lives with his mother and keeps his circle small by only hanging out with Marco and their two other friends. However, at night, he secretly spends his time on the internet with a mature man whose face he still hasn’t seen yet. When this stranger finally promises that he’ll reveal his face the day after, Jake couldn’t contain his excitement but must only keep it to himself.
Trishtan Perez is a filmmaker from Pagadian City and is a graduate of the University of the Philippines with a degree in Film. He is the director of short films like Some Nights I Feel Like Walking (2018) and The Man Who Isn’t There and other Stories of Longing (2019) which recently received the Special Citation award in Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino: Sine Isla Luzviminda. He is a fellow of the Ricky Lee Scriptwriting Workshop and Mindanao Film Lab. His latest project i get so sad sometimes was developed under the Objectifs Short Film Incubator in 2020.
