Brand New Landscape opens with what appears to be the end of a marriage – an argument between husband and wife from which there will be no return. Ten and a half years later, Siblings Ren and Emi (Kurosaki Kodai and Mai Kiryu) are each still dealing with the aftermath of that event. Then, while delivering flowers one day, Ren encounters his father, who has just returned from abroad. Yuiga Danzuka tells a story of a family reunion against the backdrop of a city that is constantly growing and changing, finding connections in personal and municipal ambition.
