Festival Note
Father and son Luis and Esteban have traveled to the desert in Morocco, following a circuit of illegal rave events in search of Mar – Luis’ daughter and Esteban’s sister, who disappeared months ago at one of these parties. They are taken in by a group of misfits who are part of this circuit, and they’re guided through perilous mountains and an active warzone in the hopes of finding Mar. Sirat depicts an arduous trek through dangerous territory, and the type of odd souls and free spirits that risk it all for the music.
