A nightmarish but lyrical movement through memories of children, deprived of being a child, living in the streets, under bridges and wheels, enduring cruel moons and preying maggots of society, the film is a dialogic shuttle between the harsh realities of street myths and histories.
About the Director:
Originally from the Philippines, Anton Juan holds a doctorate from the University of Athens, is a tenured professor at the University of Notre Dame and a two-time recipient of the Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et Lettres among dozens of other international accolades. Juan’s film work includes the “Ang Buwan” segment in Shake Rattle and Roll 6 (1997).
